The Grangeville-based Mountain View School District will deconsolidate and split into two separate districts following yesterday’s (Tue) elections.
Nearly 69 percent of patrons voted in favor of the split that will separate schools in Kooskia and Elk City from Grangeville.
Meanwhile, all north central Idaho school supplemental levies passed.
Voters approved levies for the Cottonwood, Salmon River, Highland, Nezperce, Whitepine, and Potlatch school districts.
