
Update: If power isn’t out already, it soon will be. Idaho County Light & Power predicts it will last about 4.5 hours.
Idaho County Light & Power reports they’ll need to turn off power to some residents after an accident caused damage to their equipment. The Sheriff’s Office informed them that the accident of Battle Ridge caused “extensive damage” to one of their main equipment poles.
To fix it, they’ll have to turn off power our of the Tahoe substation. It will affect residents in Clearwater, Clear Creek, Battle Ridge, and down tot the north end of Harpster will be out of power until crews can assess the damage.
