St. Mary’s Health in Cottonwood will close down on Thursday temporarily. Electrical upgrade work is causing the shut-down. A release from the hospital says the work “will improve long-term safety and reliability”.
It’s going to happen May 1st between 3:00am and 7:00am.
They mention that all inpatients will be discharged or transferred before they turn the power off. St. Mary’s Ambulance crews will assist with patient movement. Clearwater Valley Health and Syringa hospitals are ready to receive patients if needed.
If you find yourself in an emergency situation, they say you should still call 9-1-1. All emergency services and dispatchers know what’s going on and how to handle it.
