Lewis-Clark State College’s Center for Arts & History has introduced a new exhibit entitled “The Road to Lewiston: A Journey Through the NAIA World Series & LC State’s Legacy.”

The exhibit, led by Center director Kristi Brown, with collaboration from LC State athletics, showcases memorable moments on the field and stories from both coaches and players who have shaped the program. The center hopes the exhibit will bring the community together to discover the history and legacy of both the NAIA and LC State Baseball, as well as celebrate a lasting tradition.

The exhibit can be found on each floor of the center until June 7 and is free for anyone who would like to experience it.

In celebration of the new exhibit, the Center will be hosting a Meet and Greet Reception Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The event will showcase four speakers including LC State President Cynthia Pemberton, Athletic Director Ronnie Palmer, baseball head coach Jake Taylor, and statistician Denny Grubb. Community members are invited to attend the free event to visit with LC State baseball players and coaches, enjoy delicious food and beverages, and explore the exhibit.

The event will kick off the LC State Athletic Hall of Fame weekend and a four-game baseball series with the University of British Columbia.

The Center for Arts & History gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, and 12-4 p.m. on Saturday.
