Grangeville Police Officers and Idaho State Police Troopers arrested a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old male in connection with multiple vehicle burglaries. A press release says the 22-year-old is Nickolas Gortsema of Grangeville.
Yesterday morning, the police department received multiple reports of vehicle burglaries throughout the city. Police believe it happened early in the morning yesterday (Monday). Police say suspects targeted unlocked vehicles and took money, wallets, credit cards, and firearms.
Investigators identified two people of interest. They obtained a search warrant on West Side Lane in Grangeville and two associated vehicles. They pulled over one of the vehicles and arrested the two for multiple counts of burglary, grad theft, and fraudulent use of a financial transaction card.
In the second vehicle and residence in the search warrant, they found additional “items of evidence”.
