Congressman Russ Fulcher says the U.S. government agencies that have grown huge “desperately need to have an intervention.”

During his tele-town hall meeting yesterday (Thursday) from D.C., he tackled a variety of issues over the hour he spent with Idahoans. He started by talking about the skyrocketing, $36-trillion national debt.

He went on to answer questions debunking rumors about taking away social security benefits. He says some have been removed, but only the payments to people who are already dead. He also said the budget has had some streamlining.

He also addressed livestock deaths by wolves and grizzly bears. He said “neither species is endangered anymore. That’s why I’m working to return management authority to the states, where it belongs.”
