Glenn Hired to Lead Lewiston Parks and Recreation

The City of Lewiston has hired Justin Glenn as the new Parks and Recreation Director.

According to a news release from the city, Glenn brings a wealth of experience in parks and recreation management, most recently having served as the Deputy Director of the largest military parks and recreation program in the Department of Defense at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In that role, he oversaw five divisions, managed a team of more than 1,200 employees, and maintained 84 front-door operations with an annual operating budget exceeding $50 million, supporting a community of 240,000.

Glenn’s career in parks and recreation spans over 20 years, with leadership roles in community recreation, facility management, large-scale event planning, and capital improvement projects. According to the release, his expertise includes budget development, program expansion, stakeholder engagement, and creating innovative recreation opportunities that enhance quality of life.

His first day on the job will be June 16.
