
Gasoline prices in Idaho and across the U.S. are holding steady.
According to the American Automobile Association, today’s average price for a gallon of regular in Idaho is $3.18, about the same price as a week ago, but four cents less than a month ago and 19 cents less than a year ago.
The national average currently sits at $3.08 per gallon, which is about a penny less than a week ago, but eight cents less than a month ago and 38 cents less than a year ago.
While the news is positive, with the spring break travel season here, AAA says prices could rise due to higher demand.
Motorists in Rexburg and Twin Falls are paying the highest average price for a gallon of gasoline in Idaho at $3.21, while Coeur d’Alene has the state’s lowest average price at $2.99. Lewiston’s average price for a gallon of regular is $3.17.
