LHS Boys Open Idaho State Tournament Thursday Against Twin Falls while Four Other Area Teams Also Chase Titles

For the first time since 2017, the Lewiston High School boy’s basketball team opens the Idaho State 5-A Tournament tomorrow (Thur) afternoon at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian against Twin Falls.

The #2 seed Bengals are 20-4 overall while the #7 seed Bruins are 14-9.

Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. Pacific Time with live radio coverage in the LC Valley on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.

Meanwhile, four other north central Idaho boys teams are also seeking state titles this week.

In the 1-A State Tournament at Caldwell High School: Nezperce is the #7 seed and will face #2 seed Rockland tomorrow (Thur) afternoon at 1 p.m. Pacific Time with live radio coverage in the upper Clearwater Valley and Camas Prairie on KLER-FM 103.3.

Two teams from the area are competing in the 2-A State Tournament at Vallivue High School also in Caldwell. #3 seed Kendrick opens up against #6 seed Hagerman tomorrow (Thur) morning at 11 a.m. Pacific Time. Top seed Kamiah will meet #8 seed Victory Charter tomorrow (Thur) afternoon at 4 p.m. Pacific Time.

For the first time since 2008 the Orofino boys will compete in the 3-A State Tournament at Capital High School in Boise: The Maniacs are the #8 seed and will take on top seed Declo tomorrow (Thur) at 4 p.m. Pacific Time with live radio coverage in the Upper Clearwater Valley on AM-1300 KLER.
