
The Lewiston Fire Department responded to a shop fire on the 3500 block of 15th Street in the Orchards Saturday morning.
According to a news release, crews arrived at around 6:25 a.m. and found heavy smoke coming from a 20-by-40-foot shop located at 3527 15th Street.
Firefighters cut the shop doors and extinguished the blaze with water from an engine. The fire was contained to the shop and caused an estimated $15,000 in damage. The cause of the fire has not been released and there were no injuries reported.
