Crews with the Washington Department of Transportation will be conducting annual maintenance on the Blue Bridge between Lewiston and Clarkston this week.
According to department officials, work is scheduled to start today (Mon), with crews working in the towers of the bridge. However, traffic will not be affected until tomorrow (Tue), when the bridge will be reduced to one lane of travel in each direction.
Crews will start work at 6:30 a.m. and work should be wrapped up by 4 p.m. each day. The project is expected to be completed Thursday. Officials say there will be periodic bridge raises throughout the maintenance process, and motorists should expect some delays.
