The two people who perished in the explosion and fire last Wednesday at the fueling station in the Clearwater County town of Cardiff have been identified.
According to a news release from the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, the victims have been identified as 53-year-od Brandon Cook of Orofino, and 62-year-old Wesley Lineberry of Pierce.
Four other people were also injured in the incident.
The Idaho State Fire Marshall’s Office, along with the National Transportation Safety Board and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are assisting with the overall investigation into the cause of the explosion and fire.
