No injuries were reported following a fire at a Clarkston Heights residence Friday afternoon.
Firefighters from the Asotin County Fire District 1 were dispatched to the blaze on the 2600 block of 27th Street at around 2 p.m. When crews arrived on scene the structure was fully engulfed and was ultimately destroyed. Nobody was home when the fire broke out. Firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to nearby structures.
Crews from the Lewiston, Clarkston and Asotin fire departments, as well as the Washington State Department of Natural Resources assisted in suppressing the fire.
