A signature event prior to the beginning of each Avista NAIA World Series is the Thursday evening banquet where all 10 participating teams gather for a meal together before competing for a national championship.
Tournament Director Brooke Henze says the banquet allows the public a first-hand glimpse of each team and how they qualified, while also recognizing tournament sponsors and honorary coaches.
