LEWISTON, ID –The Walla Walla District of the US Army Corps of Engineers is banning all rock climbing beyond the buck-and-rail fence on the “River Run” trail in Hells Gate Habitat Management Unit, beginning June 1st.
This ban is an effort to protect cultural resources and ensure public safety. Once in place, USACE park rangers will enforce it.
