Jenna Barney drove in 3 runs and Ashland Schnell went 5 1/3 in the circle as the Lewiston High softball team eliminated Post Falls 7-4 yesterday (Thur) in the district tournament at home.
The Bengals improved to 15-10 on the year and will travel to Cottonwood tomorrow (Sat) for an Idaho State 5-A Play-In game against Capital of Boise.
Meanwhile, the LHS baseball team saw it’s season come to an end with a district tournament loss to Coeur d’Alene on the road yesterday (Thur) by a final score of 4-2.
Guy Krasselt led the Bengals with two hits and a run-batted-in.
Lewiston’s season comes to an end with a record of 14-11.
