Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on Friday south of Lapwai on U.S. Highway 95.
According to news release from ISP, at 11:10 a.m. a 2011 Kia Sorento, driven by a 63-year-old unidentified man from Caldwell, was travelling southbound near milepost 297, approximately 3 miles south of Lapwai when the driver drifted on to the right shoulder then continued on to a private driveway before striking a tree and coming to rest leaning against a power pole.
Residential power was interrupted for an undetermined time.
The man was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
