A head-on crash closed a portion of U.S. Highway 12 between Idaho State Highway 3 and the Cherrylane Bridge for approximately 2 hours this (Tue) morning.
According to an ISP news release, at approximately 7:12 a.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision eastbound on US 12 near milepost 17 in Nez Perce County.
A white Dodge Ram 2500 was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Kenworth semi-truck. The driver of the Dodge was transported to the hospital via air ambulance and the driver of the Kenworth was transported via ground ambulance, both with unspecified injuries.
