LAPWAI, ID—Firefighters were dispatched to a barn fire east of Lapwai yesterday afternoon at around 5:15 p.m. Lapwai City Fire Chief William Skiles says in addition to Lapwai Fire Department personnel, crews from Nez Perce County Fire and Culdesac responded to 23066 Cottonwood Creek Road. No injuries were reported, although some animals were displaced by the fire.
Crews remained on scene for about two hours.
