RIGGINS, ID – A 47-year-old Nampa man was arrested on multiple charges last night in Riggins. According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a battery in progress at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Main Street.
“An Idaho County Deputy responded and located a male physically restraining another male on the ground. After speaking to the parties involved, it was determined the subject had attempted to kick in a door at a motel. He had also been kicked out of two other businesses earlier in the day for inappropriately touching staff and disruptive behavior. He later returned to one of the businesses and attempted to kick in their door,” a press release says.
Troy Scott was arrested for Felony Attempted Burglary, Felony Malicious Injury to Property, Misdemeanor Battery, Misdemeanor Malicious Injury to Property, Misdemeanor Disturbing the Peace, Misdemeanor Assault, and Misdemeanor Intoxication.
