
The Lewiston Fire Department responded to a structure fire on the 300 block of Silcott Street around 10 p.m. Saturday night.
According to a press release, arriving crews observed light smoke coming from the attic of the residence.
The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes and crews remained on scene for an additional hour to check for any fire extension.
The department dispatched three structural engines, three ambulances, three chief officers and an engine from the Clarkston Fire Department.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the blaze was determined to likely be an electrical malfunction in wiring above the bathroom of the home and the estimated damage to the structure was around $10,000.
