Open burning in the unincorporated areas of Asotin County and the city of Asotin ends Friday at 4 p.m.
Open burning will resume in April next spring.
In the meantime, Asotin County residents can haul yard debris to the regional landfill along Sixth Avenue at no charge. Anyone with questions about the program can call the landfill by calling at 509 758-9230 or by visiting the landfill website here.
