A Clarkston man is facing burglary, assault, harassment and malicious mischief charges for allegedly threatening to kill a woman and damaging a patrol vehicle.
45-year-old Adam Pogue was arrested Saturday, November 18 on the 1100 block of Eighth Street in Clarkston.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Pogue reportedly violated domestic violence court orders when he entered a residence, woke up a woman and demanded to use her pickup truck.
When the woman refused and told him she was calling the police, Pogue allegedly picked up a barstool, saying she’d be “dead before he gets here.” Pogue then ran outside, jumped in an idling car and was quickly pulled over by police arriving on the scene.
According to court documents, Pogue, who had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants, was behaving erratically and allegedly slammed his head on the hood of a Clarkston patrol vehicle, causing a small dent.
Pogue was charged with first-degree burglary, a Class A felony, protection order violations, second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, third-degree malicious mischief and felony harassment. He will be arraigned Dec. 4 in Asotin County Superior Court.
