The University of Idaho fall enrollment is 11,849 – up from last year’s fall enrollment of 11,507.
According to a news release, this year’s freshman class of 1,869 new students is behind only last fall’s incoming class of 1,951. The University also saw a 1.4% increase in the retention of students and this year’s freshman class of 1,869 new students is the second most ever behind only last fall’s incoming class of 1,951.
Undergraduate student enrollment is up 3.4%, but the numbers for graduate students are down slightly from fall 2022 – something the university says is a return to normalcy from the COVID-19 spikes observed in prior years.
