Motorists are being asked to avoid Fifth Street and Bryden Avenue in the Lewiston Orchards early next week while the intersection is closed to replace heavily rutted asphalt.
The closure will begin at 6 a.m. Monday and is anticipated to last one day as long as everything goes according to plan. One lane is expected be open Tuesday, and normal traffic should resume by Wednesday.
