All Moscow School District buildings were temporarily put in lock down and secure modes this (Tue) afternoon.

According to an email from Moscow Superintendent Shawn Tiegs, the decision was made after a “vague and threatening phone call” was made to the school district.

The Moscow High School building was locked down and all other school district buildings were put in secure mode for less than two hours after authorities responded and conducted sweeps of all school buildings and found no threats.

After the sweeps were completed, the call was believed to be a hoax, and with police in the building, it was determined normal operations could resume.
