CLARKSTON, WA – Clarkston Auto Sales will be holding a September 11th Remembrance event tomorrow for first responders, their families, and the community.

“The goal here is to help build relationships with the community as well as take the time to remember those that lost their lives on 9/11,” Clarkston Auto Sales officials say. “Last year we had vehicles from Wheatland County Fire Dept, Pomeroy Fire Dept, Asotin County Fire, Clarkston Police Dept, Clarkston Fire Dept, and Nez Perce County Sheriff Dept.  We are hoping to see an even bigger turn out this year.”

The event will take place tomorrow at the Clarkston Auto Sales car lot at 1292 Bridge Street in Clarkston.
  • 11:00-2:00 lunch for first responders and family.  Our way of saying thank you to our first responders.
  • 2:30-5:00 Meet and greet with the community.  We will have both police and fire department vehicles at the car lot with the personnel on hand.  The kids can check out the vehicles and talk with the fire and police.  Giveaways for the kids.  Music during the event.
  • 3:30 The fire department will give a demonstration using the jaws of life and cut up a car.
