GRANGEVILLE, ID – The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office says a young child was bitten by a rattlesnake yesterday. According to a press release, dispatchers received a call at approximately 2:52 p.m., regarding an emergency beacon activation near White House Bar on the Salmon River.
“The information relayed was a 3-year-old child had been bitten by a rattlesnake,” officials say.
Life Flight was dispatched and landed at approximately 3:37 p.m. and transported the child.
