
BOISE, ID – The Idaho Public Utilities Commission is holding technical hearings in early August on an application from Avista Utilities to increase revenues for natural gas and electric service it provides to its Idaho customers. The company is asking for approval to increase base revenues in 2023 and 2024. Under the terms of a proposed settlement involving parties in the case, base revenues for natural gas service would increase by 2.7% beginning September 1st, and increase by 0.01% beginning September 1, 2024.
Base revenues for electric service would increase by 8.03% beginning September 1st, and increase by 1.37% beginning September 1, 2024.
Technical hearings are scheduled for Wednesday, August 2nd, and Thursday, August 3rd. They will start at 9:00 a.m. each day and conclude at 5:00 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Time). They may conclude before 5:00 p.m. on August 3rd if the full two days are not needed.
