The event is a fundraiser for TCUW’s Kindergarten Readiness Program, a five-week summer program that helps area children entering kindergarten learn both academic and social skills, so they are prepared to begin kindergarten in the fall.  In addition to these programs being held in Lewiston and Clarkston this summer, the program has expanded into both Lapwai and Asotin.

“This year, we are honoring Jet LaVance, “ said Kristin Kemak, CEO of Twin County United Way. “Her commitment and love of community was always shining and being able to honor her on her birthday brings all of us who knew her great joy.”
