
The 2nd ranked Lewis-Clark State baseball team completed a four-game series sweep over Eastern Oregon after taking both games of a doubleheader yesterday (Sun) at Harris Field.
Dom Signorelli homered and drove in three, and Sam Ollson and Eric Mast had two runs-batted-in each as the Warriors beat the Mountaineers 14-1 in a the first game that ended via the 10-run rule.
Greg Blackman picked up his second win of the season. The righthander allowed one run on five hits with 7 strikeouts over 4 innings.
In the second game, Jack Sheward had two hits and 3 runs-batted-in and Carter Booth homered for the second day in-a-row as LC won 10-2.
Cam Smith earned his second win of the season in relief as the righthander pitched the final three innings – allowing no runs on one hit with 5 strikeouts.
The Warriors improve to 15-3 and will open Cascade Conference play at home March 18th and 19th against Corban at Harris Field.
