Malachi Smith scored a season-high 23 points for the Gonzaga men’s basketball team in a 102-78 win over Portland State in the opening round of the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament in Portland last night.
Drew Timme added 18 points and 9 rebounds as the 6thh ranked Bulldogs improved to 4-1. Portland State fell to 2-3.
