Defense fails as Mariners drop series to White Sox, former LC standouts shine

Eloy Jimenez doubled, homered and drove in 3 runs as the Chicago White Sox beat the Seattle Mariners 9-6 yesterday (Wed) in the final game of their three-game series at T-Mobile Park.

Eugenio Suarez hit two homeruns for the Mariners, but the team couldn’t overcome it’s three errors defensively.

Diego Castillo took the loss in relief for Seattle – allowing an unearned run in one inning.

The Mariners have today (Thurs) off before hosting the defending world champion Atlanta Braves in a three-game weekend interleague series beginning tomorrow (Fri) night at T-Mobile Park.
