An Oregon man died following a motorcycle accident Friday evening on Alpowa Grade west of Clarkston.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 69-year-old Michael Mingin of Keizer, Oregon, was traveling west at around 6:50 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 12, 14 miles east of Pomeroy. Mingin was changing lanes and left the roadway to the right.
He was taken to Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston, where he was pronounced deceased. He was not wearing a helmet.
