The first-degree murder trial of a Winchester man accused of killing a Lewiston man in grocery store parking lot has been re-scheduled.
James Brashear was expected to stand trial on July 5th for the shooting death of his former son-in-law John Mast in the Rosauers parking lot in February 2021.
His defense attorney filed a motion to postpone the proceeding after being unable to locate an expert witness and problems related to interviewing potential witnesses.
Second District Judge Mark Monson then moved the trial to November 7th with the final pretrial date set for October 26th. (Lewiston Tribune)
