Win streak snapped as M’s fall in Tampa

Kevin Kiermaier had two hits, including a homerun and drove in 2 runs as Tampa Bay ended Seattle’s 4-game win streak with a 3-2 win yesterday (Wed) at Tropicana Field.

Drew Rasmussen was dominant through six innings on the mound. The Rays’ right-hander allowed 2 hits over 6 shutout innings with 9 strikeouts to earn the win.

J.P. Crawford hit a solo homer and Abraham Toro had an RBI single for the Mariners in the loss.

The final game of the three-game series is this morning in Tampa. First pitch is scheduled for 10:10 a.m. Pacific Time with live coverage in the LC Valley on FM 93.1 and 1350 AM KRLC and in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER.
