
Two Lewis-Clark State athletes have been named Cascade Conference Players of the Week.
Jorgen Lie Viken , a junior from Kongsberg, Norway was named the Cascade’s Men’s Golfer of the Week.

Viken earned his first win as a Warrior at the Corban Invitational after shooting rounds of 74 and 70. He helped the 12th ranked Warrior men to their fourth team title of the season, besting 6th ranked British Columbia and Oregon Tech by 15 strokes.
It’s the second conference weekly honor for Viken this year.

Dawson Day
Dawson Day was named the Cascade’s Baseball Pitcher of the week after dominating the College of Idaho Saturday. The senior lefty from Gresham, Oregon allowed just two hits in his seven shut-out innings and struck out 13 in picking up his sixth win of the season.
It’s Day’s first weekly honor with the Warriors. He is the fourth different LC State pitcher to win the award this season.
The 4th ranked Warriors will travel for a four-game Cascade Conference series with Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls this weekend.
