In cooperation with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, Public Health – Idaho North Central District is issuing a health advisory due to the presence of a harmful algal bloom at the Spring Valley Reservoir located in Latah County.
Recent samples taken indicate concentrations of toxin-producing blue-green algae that may cause illness to humans and animals.
