Regional health officials reported a combined 112 new coronavirus cases and 5 deaths Wednesday.
In north central Idaho: Nez Perce County had the highest number of new infections with 39 and 1 death; Latah County saw its numbers climb by 14, along with 1 death; Idaho County reported 7 new cases; Clearwater County added 3 new virus infections; and Lewis County reported 2 new cases and 1 death.
In southeastern Washington: Asotin County’s number of new infections rose by 30; and Whitman County reported 17 new cases and 2 virus-related deaths Wednesday. (Lewiston Tribune, Public Health – Idaho North Central District, Whitman County Public Health)
