Washington State University will require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and fans will be required to wear facial masks to attend Cougar football games in Pullman beginning next month.
The school made the announcement yesterday (Wed) as the number of coronavirus infections continues to spike in the region and hospitals struggle to provide care.
The university’s new game day protocols align with protocols put in place by the University of Washington and Seattle Seahawks.
Before the new rules take effect, WSU will play two more home games: this Saturday against Portland State and Sept. 18th against USC. (Washington State University)
