
Idaho State Police are joining with other law enforcement agencies across the state over the holiday weekend in efforts to stop impaired driving.
ISP and law enforcement partners will add troopers and patrol officers to help enforce the state’s DUI and aggressive driving laws.
According to Idaho crash data, impaired driving was the cause of 1,513 crashes in Idaho last year. 92 people died as a result of those impaired driving crashes and hundreds more were injured.
Idaho State Police and law enforcement agencies across the state urge the public to call a cab, or designate a sober driver if alcohol will be a part of the holiday weekend activities. (Idaho State Police)
