Trial dates set for Greencreek sisters accused of murder-for-hire plot

murder-for-hire

Two Idaho County sisters are scheduled to stand trial in September in connection to an alleged plot to hire someone to kill their neighbor.

Doris and Debra Wensman, of Greencreek, were arraigned Friday in 2nd District Court in Grangeville on felony charges of soliciting murder. The two women were taken into custody last month after allegedly offering an undercover law enforcement officer money, guns, and ammunition to kill their neighbor.

Both pleaded not guilty and a jury trial was set for September 9th.

Doris Wensman also faces a charge of soliciting murder on a separate occasion, and faces a September 30th court date for that matter.

Both women are free on $100,000 bond.  (Lewiston Tribune)
