Beginning Monday morning, the southbound lane of Lewiston’s Snake River Avenue will be closed to traffic from the Southway roundabout to the Southway Bridge for road surface repairs.
According to the city of Lewiston, the northbound lane will remain open throughout the project, though drivers should expect minor, intermittent delays as flaggers hold traffic for heavy equipment operation. Detour routes for southbound traffic will be clearly posted, directing drivers along Bryden Canyon Road, 8th Street, and Southway Avenue.
The roadway is scheduled to fully reopen by Wednesday night. As with all construction, unforeseen conditions could alter schedules.
