An accident this morning landed a car upside down in the chilly waters of the Lochsa River. At about 6:45am, Kooskia emergency crews and the Lowell Quick Response Unit rushed to Highway 12 north of Lowell. They found a vehicle rolled over and partially submerged in the water. Three occupants were able to get themselves out and were taken to the hospital.
