
The numbers are out for unemployment in Washington State, and it’s good news for Asotin County. March’s unemployment rate dropped to 3.3% from February’s 3.8% according to the Employment Security Department. Employers reported 7,160 jobs in the cornerstone county. That’s 163 more jobs than March last year.
Asotin County is beating the rest of the state and the country. Washington’s unemployment rate was 5.1%. The United State’s rate was 4.3%.
