
Voters went to the polls yesterday (Tue) to decide what candidates will appear in November’s General Election.
In the race for Idaho State Senator District 6, Republican incumbent Dan Foreman leads challenger Lori McCann 54% to 45%, while Democrat Robin Weldy holds a narrow lead over Richard Gayler by 120 votes. Republican Colton Bennett leads Cindy Agidius 61% to 38%, while Trish Carter-Goodheart is in front with 52% on the Democrat ballot for the Idaho State Representative District 6A seat. In the State Representative District 7A race, Republican Kyle Harris leads over challenger Mike Collins 57% to 42%. Incumbent Republican Charlie Shepherd has a commanding lead over challenger Maureen Anderson 70% to 29% in the GOP race for State Representative District 7B.
There was only one contested match-up in the contest for Nez Perce County Commissioner District 2. Republican Nick Woods leads by a wide margin 61.9% to Keith Havens’ 38%.
In the race for Idaho State Representative District 2 Seat B, Republican incumbent Dale Hawkins will advance to the November General Election. Hawkins leads Todd Perry 77% to 23%.
In the Idaho State Representative District 6B race, Democrat Kathy Dawes leads Kenneth Williams 91% to 9%. Dawes will square-off against incumbent Republican Brandon Mitchell in November’s General Election.
