April 25th is the annual free Clean-Up Day in Clearwater County. Residents who have trash that needs to go, can get rid of it for free, with a few exceptions for quantity.
Along with normal trash, you can get rid of tires. The first four are free, then they $2.50 each. It’s $5 per tire if it’s on a rim. They do not accept large truck or equipment tires. Household appliances are limited to 2, oil has a limit of 10 gallons, and they’re not accepting any hazardous materials like paints, herbicides, or anti-freeze.
The offer of free dumping is just for county residents. Businesses will be charged as usual.
Organizers highly recommend you pre-sort your load. If they have to do it, there will be a $50 charge.
