Idaho State Legislators hope you’ll start printing your own vehicle registration. Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 629 into law yesterday (Tues). It allows you to print an electronic registration card for each of your vehicles. That print will be just as good as if the state had sent it if you get pulled over or need to show it for some other reason. The state expects to save $780,000 if one million Idahoans choose the electronic version.
Little already signed two similar bills. One does away with the registration sticker on a license plate. The other does away with the 10-year replacement requirement for license plates.
All three go into effect July 1st.
