
A team of firefighters and law enforcement put out a car fire on Highway 95 yesterday (Tues) afternoon. At 2:46 the Winchester Volunteer Fire, Winchester Quick Response Unit, Craigmont Fire, Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, and the Idaho State Police responded to a car fire at Highway 95 and Talmacks Road. A social media post says they arrived to find a Mazda with flames showing and heavy black smoke. The single occupant was able to get the car pulled over and get out. No one was hurt.
