Detectives from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force made arrests in Clarkston over the weekend. A press release says an ongoing narcotics investigation led them to a home in the 1300 block of 6th Street. Law enforcement had been watching the home because of suspected ties to people known to sell narcotics.

The release goes on to say Task Force members found methamphetamine during the investigation that is believed to have come from that residence, specifically from a known drug dealer living there. That information led to a search warrant. The search came up with more than three-quarters of a pound of meth in the home.

They arrested 41-year-old John E. Hale on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver for the meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver for psilocybin mushrooms.

The release says they also arrested two other people on outstanding warrants, but it does not give their names.
